Current Projects

Since 2017, SoilChild projects have been implemented in two provinces including Hela Province and the National Capital District (NCD) of Papua New Guinea. Eastern Highlands Province will be the next province in line to replicate the model. The following table shows the specific location, and nature of project implemented.

Since 2017, SoilChild has accomplished:
• Building construction of a model library in Dauli Dem School, Dauli Hela Province
• Building construction of a one-in-seven classroom in the same school as above
• Facilitated a 20ft container with donated biomedical, health care, education and earthquake supplies from South Australia to Hela Province
• Rolled out our first pilot Poultry Project in ATS Settlement of Port Moresby which is currently on hold due to covid-19 pandemic
• Trained over 30 volunteers including teachers in Hela Province and in Port Moresby
• Built robust networking in Australia and PNG with academic, charity, public, private, media and community organisations with credible and sustainable partnerships
• Secured over Aud500,000 from grants, donations and sponsorships which accomplished what we have done so far
